1. The entries (called "fragments") are limited by size (701 character) which will stimulate writing about the most important things, while other users will not have to read long sheets of text.

2. !Fragmenter is a unique online diary which lets you keep anonymous, criticism-free track of your life in a paced and concise manner.

3. Also, there's an enforced pace, which doesn't let users to post fragments more often than every 2 hours.

4. With each fragment, you are supposed to briefly sum up your most recent experiences, write about something you did or felt in the past few hours.

5. In !Fragmenter there is no communication what-so-ever - no comments, no questions, no “likes” or "dislikes", etc.

6. Thus we prevent the "like-mania" that wears out so many participants of conventional social networks.

7. This alone will have a very healthy effect on your mental state - and that's what !Fragmenter is all about.

8. Every two hours you can buck up and think about whether you're doing or feeling what you actually like.

9. We want you to feel comfortable writing whatever you like.

10. It allows you to not "drift off" for too long in some mechanical or unpleasant activities.

11. This will encourage you to be more aware of what will come into your next fragment.
