What is Squid?
Squid Mobile is a free app that allows sailors to request and view Grib Files (weather files) with ease. It is suitable for all types of sailors, whether they are occasional cruisers or keen racers, off-shore solo navigators or coastal dinghy sailors. The app has been developed by GreatCircle, a company that has been chosen by the most demanding navigators since 2010. Squid was the exclusive supplier of weather data for the Volvo Ocean Race in 2015 and has participated in other sailing events.
