Very basic
By I need a good one. (Pcmac user)
Basic is good but too simple can leave much to be desired. I would recommend adding a setting for home location so when you open the app AQI and other info about your home location appears first. Favorites and a widget would also be nice. I would like to see this modeled similarly to most weather apps.

What about West Sacramento

App has all the surrounding cities including natomas (which is an area, not a city) but doesn’t have West the app. The numbers vary from Davis to Natomas to the app.
Other than that, app is great.

Easy and straightforward

Really easy app to use and straightforward: you pick your region and the closest monitoring station to see the current air quality status, today's forecast, and tomorrow's forecast.
Con: it would be nice to be able to set a monitoring station so that you don't have to go through picking your region and closest monitoring station every time. But I doubt the Air Quality board has tons of money to spend on the nuances of app development and it's not a big deal.
This app does what it needs to do. Never again will I accidentally go for an hour long run outside on a Spare the Air day!
