Bugs, bugs, bugs...
By sugarland pete (Pcmac user)
The app has too many bugs.
1) if you use the same app with same login on different devices, the app does not behave as though you’re the same user.
2) why do notifications never seem to disappear? I always seem to have new x amount of notifications, but all old and long since looked at. How can we make notifications actually show up when there is something new?
3) list reservations seem to have an issue. You need to toggle between “by reservation date” and by “date of stay” to make them appear.
4) the availability calendar is unreliable. Do something (block, unblock, change availability, change price,...), it says saved, and doesn’t show up.
5) hard to get data on confirmed booking price: can’t you simply show me the same breakdown as on the extranet?
6) payments section doesn’t exist, which is a huge let down. Access card data via extranet..., but the app and extranet access the same data, right? So just show the data through the app!
7) the message writing section is so small the editing is terribly difficult and annoying. Often plays up, jumping from line to line or between messages...
On the good side: layout is good, the menu is good and the navigation is quite simple. Just add some functionality from the extranet and get rid of the bugs and we may have a decent app. Especially the notifications issue. Let us know how to wipe off the irrelevant stuff from the home screen...

iPad functionality not there yet.
By Jayfajonesy (Pcmac user)
I use this app on my iPad as well as my Samsung telephone. I have noticed the functionality on these devices is worlds apart. Case in point, I have recently attempted to change my availability for today on the iPad to which I was greeted with, “To avoid overbooking, availability can not be more than 1.” No discussion and no options for changing my availability on my iPad. To get around this, I simply opened the app on my phone which within five seconds allowed me to successfully update my availability to reflect my circumstances. I don’t know how much beta testing the app had on the iPad but I am having some pretty basic issues that aren’t reflected on my phone. I just deducted another star as the iPad version shows cancelled bookings at still active and isn’t allowing the rooms to be rented. I’m sorry but this new bug reduces this app to a useless piece of garbage which negatively impacts my business.

Needs improvement
By Sleepgrrl (Pcmac user)
This app has some great bones and I appreciate what it intends to do but does not often accomplish. It’s quicker and easier than logging on to the full site. However the app has a lot of glitches. It has the incorrect dates marked as booked when you toggle down on availability causing overbooking. The notification for messages from guests reminds you long after you’ve responded or said no response needed. I’ll often get an email or notification and when I go to the app the information hasn’t and won’t update. In other words this technology needs some work. It’s amazing that as a company using technology to sell a product wouldn’t bother with a better app.

Beautiful application, very useful and simple to use. Hopefully, as time passes, will be more options to choose for easier handling of booking account and reservations. I would like to see in some future updates easy accessible information of monthly (or chosen date) sales value. From me 5 stars 😀
