  • Protection at its finest

By Mike loves 5 stars (Pcmac user)

The internet protection on this app is state of the art with AES-128 protection and Cipher SHA256 encryption! This vpn is amazing if you are journalist trying to debunk some information or if you are trying to evade hackers from stealing your information on a public WiFi. And the prices are amazing with a coupon that can give you 50% off FOREVER! Only issue is the app it crashes and when you kill the app and leave the vpn on you cannot really open it back up sometimes and if you ever want to kill the vpn when this happens you go to vpn settings in general settings and find the profile click the i next to it and switch off connect on demand. This vpn is amazing and a worthy buy! Try it today!
  • Do NOT waste your money with TorGuard

    By blyat2423 (Pcmac user)

While their desktop clients are generally ok, the iOS clients are absolutely atrocious. What others have said is true; TorGuard constantly drops the connection in the background and there is NO WAY to recover internet access until it reconnects. Your internet is disabled, and you are simply met with an unhelpful loading spinner while tries to reconnect. Turning off VPN from iOS settings doesn’t work, nor does force killing TorGuard; your internet remains disabled, you can’t even turn off the non-connecting vpn. You’re basically stuck without internet for several minutes at a time. If this happens once a month I might be ok, but this happens at least once every session I use my iPad, which is unacceptable.
  • terrible app

    By Fitzman2k (Pcmac user)

This app is well mean and has good functionality and a decent amount of servers, but the app constantly crashes in the background. When this happens, all traffic stops and the app is not accessible. You can kill the app in the background and restart and it won’t do a thing. You can restart the phone and it won’t do a thing as the VPN is still “on”. There is nothing you can do but wait. It happens since multiple OS versions and on multiple iPhone, including 7Plus, 8, and X. It’s a terrible bug that doesn’t seem to be fixed. Otherwise it would be a five star app.... Update March 30, 2018: And the bug causing regular hangups with complete blockage of internet traffic persists...
  • Excellent daily driver

    By ctperson (Pcmac user)

Great foolproof app for consistent vpn connections in iOS. Keeps the VPN connection across WiFi and cellular networks as they connect or drop, which is hugely important. The vpn must be live before switching to a public WiFi network such as a coffee shop because Apple mail, messages, App Store etc will automatically start making connections as soon as iOS confirms a WiFi connection. Few options. Would prefer the ability to choose UTP or TCP in settings. This app is the reason I’m still paying for Torguard.
