It Works Well and Appears to be Virus-Free

I'm happy with this--4.5 stars. It has some minor quirks, but I'm getting video and audio recordings as wished. You have to download a free plug-in outside of the App Store if you want online audio to record; the plug-in appears to be virus free (according to Norton), and the online instructions for installing were pretty good. Low learning-curve overall. Try the free version first, which is limited to 90 seconds of recording.

As iShowU kept adding features, I started running into problems with the core functionality, capturing video. I couldn’t get reliable audio from applications along with voice narration. this app does everything I need and more, and keeps it simple. It can be a little annoying to have to install another audio driver, but the functionality is rock solid.

I tried the free lite version and was so impressed I paid for the full version. This ability to try is not offered on many of the apps in the store and why I buy so few of them. I’ve had a couple of more expensive video the app capture apps and not one of them is as good as this value priced app. I wasted so much money but have been compensated with this program.
Great replacement for Snapz

Have used Snapz Pro for many years. Alas, this product is no longer supported. This the app capture / recorder is a fine replacement for Snapz. There is a requirement to download a 3rd party pluggin for the sound to be captured in-line.
