Works great (deleting is a user problem, not software)

This app has been very useful to me in finding and helping me fix some corruption that occurred when I switched from iPhoto to Photos. A note about the deleting issues that people mention: you need to follow the onscreen prompts of the app Photo Finder on how to delete the photos from Photos. Otherwise, if you just hit your “delete” key on your keyboard all that will happen will be that the photos will be removed from the album they are in but not from your library. That is standard Photos behavior.

I've recently merged multiple photo libraries of family pictures dating back at least 10 years and had an enormous number of duplicates. Well over 10,000 I would estimate. I downloaded and tried multiple apps that claimed to remove duplicates but none seemed to work, or would only find a few. This one... first try. It does what it says. Well done dev team!

Thanks for putting out this app for free! It worked perfectly and saved me a HUGE amount of time! After making sure it worked I bought the upgraded version (PhotoSweeper) to get additional features.
not a huge fan

Did an amazing job finding the app photos, but would not delete the doubles. I ran this program several times, did the auto delete and the photos came back the next time I ran it. So I ran the programe and tried to manually delete them to no evail, as the photos returned. I spent hours on two occasions doing this, no luck I emptied my trash of 39,000 photos, and they were back again next time. But it found the duplicates easily just couldnt delete the doubles, so it really didnt do as promised.
