Software Features and Description

1. To start counting select a text from anywhere (i.e. Browser, Mail, PDF or any source or file formats) and copy or press cmd+c (Command+C) to show the count information.

2. Word-Counter helps you to quickly count the number of sentences, lines, words, unique words, characters, characters without spaces and spaces in a text.

3. If you have any problem, please email us at tamas.raresiuliu@yahoo.com / carmen.simoc@yahoo.com. Thank you! We will fix bugs and add features as soon as possible.

4. If you no longer want the count window to be visible, just close the window and the app will still work in the menu bar.

Install Word-Counter app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Word-Counter on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Word-Counter"
The search will reveal the Word-Counter app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Word-Counter is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Word-Counter.
Now enjoy Word-Counter on PC.

Okay, it pays to read the (brief) instructions

You must press cmd-C to get this app to update its word count. Of course, that means you are copying the selected text to the clipboard, losing anything currently in it that you might have plans for. The flip side is that this use of the clipboard assures nearly universal compatibility with any application. There are a few apps and dialog boxes that won't let you copy, and even a few web-pages that try to block it, but those are outliers. For everything else, this app works easily and well... as long as you remember that copy-to-clipboard step!

I use an app called Typora which is almost perfect for my situation, but it doesn’t have a good wordcount functionality. In particular, I want to see how many words, chars and spaces are in a selection. Enter this app to solve the issue. This app counts the words, chars and spaces of the copied text on the clipboard. It doesn’t have an bells and whistles - it just does one job, but it works.
