What is Earthquake Monitor? The Earthquake Monitor app allows users to browse earthquakes in the past 24 hours or past 30 days in map mode or data feed mode. Users can set custom locations to monitor and receive push notifications for earthquakes globally or at up to four specific locations. The app also includes a Today View Widget, a watchOS app, and a Recent Earthquake News section.
1. Set a custom location in feed mode to find the closest recent earthquakes to that location and to populate distances for all earthquakes relative to the custom location.
2. A Recent Earthquake News section: find news from 1,600+ cited sources quickly on a map or in a table view tagged by state alphabetically.
