Install Pocket Rain Gauge™ app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Pocket Rain Gauge"
The search will reveal the Pocket Rain Gauge™ app icon. Open, then click "Install".

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Pocket Rain Gauge,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Pocket Rain Gauge" » then Click "Install".
- Pocket Rain Gauge™ will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Very useful for my community garden plots

Once you sign up online (it’s free!) and create your farm locations, they will appear on the app and give you very useful data in the last 24 hours worth of rain at each location. I haven’t checked for accuracy, but this is very useful for me to know if I need to drive out to water my beds. Additionally, it sends you an email report (if you want it to) with today’s projected rain, max temperature, rain expected for the next 7 days, and a few other rain data points. So useful! I’m very grateful for this tool.
Throw away the plastic rain gauge

Even during major rain events over 3" has been within a few 1/100ths of neighbors pro weather station and let's me look at what happened wherever I go.

If you are trying to log your per day rainfall this is not your app. This app gives you a 24 hour rain total but doesn’t break and reset at midnight. The totals become blurred because there is no reset time. Part of the rain fall the previous day might still be part of the current total showing. Has potential but currently it’s useless.

We received over 4 inches of rain and this device showed only 1/4” of rain. It shows wrong location, and I can not log into my account. I will delete this app because it does not work at all!
