Download and install the Diigo Browser app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Diigo Browser on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Diigo Browser"
- The search will reveal the Diigo Browser app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Diigo Browser is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Diigo Browser.
- Now enjoy Diigo Browser on PC.

- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Diigo Browser:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Diigo Browser" » Click "Install" to install Diigo Browser

✔ Pros:

I want to love this app, but...

It's slow. The web app is wonderful. When I add or remove a bookmark on my iPhone or iPad, it shows up on the web within a matter of seconds. When I add something on the web, nothing happens in the iOS app, and if it does, only after I refresh, and that seems to take an unusually long time pretty much every time.
In the iOS app you have an option that we can select to save all contents as private. What I would really like is to also have an option to save all bookmarks as unread as well. This is crucial if I'm going to select the option to quick save without a bookmark window. When I save bookmarks for reading later, I want this to be a quick process that will be easy for me to find what I bookmarked for reading later.

is a big change and, i think, big step forward. Nice to have Multiple tabs 👍
But... please please
- when sharing highlight/s (just one or all) add quotation marks around the highlighted text. These are ALWAYS quotations, after all, and I'm tired of adding them manually. (Ideally, existing quotation marks should be converted from " to ' since they become internal quotes-within-quotes. An app called ESSE does this nicely for iOS)
- In copy-paste balloon, I have to scroll to choose highlight. Please move "Highlight" before those other choices, so there's no need to scroll right every time I want to highlight. I mean, that's the main feature of the app right?
- Is Clean view Gone forever? It was buggy as hell, but i miss its readability, night-mode colors and flexible font size.
FIXED IN 3.0!
- the app allows only one tab, so viewing a newly bookmarked page requires backing out of any other page I was viewing in the app, which I may not have finished reading.
- when coloring a highlight, the color choices usually do not appear properly. Just 4 little black boxes

I’ve been using the app for a few years now and I’ve always loved the website interface and the browser extension. I sometimes use it to organize research for my university projects and papers, but I mainly use it to bookmark the fanfiction that I read. I’ve wanted the ios app to include several features for a while, such as the ability to read my own descriptions and to add descriptions and tags in-app, and with the latest update we finally get those features and more. I usually read fanfic on my phone and to finally be able to fully add and find links within the app without having to switch over to my laptop is amazing.

Diego is one of my favorite tools. It helps keep me organized especially since I have a hard time remembering the names of websites that I want to refer to other people or use myself. By adding tags I can find anything that I’ve seen and found a valuable on the web. I’ve also looked at others who have similar tags And found useful and interesting websites.
