What is Subway timetable?
The Tokyo Metro subway guide application is a useful tool for commuters and tourists who want to navigate the Tokyo subway system. It displays the nearest subway station to your current location via GPS and provides route guides and schedules in both English and Japanese characters. The app covers nine subway lines, including the Ginza Line, Marunouchi Line, Hibiya Line, Tozai Line, Chiyoda Line, Yurakucho Line, Hanzomon Line, Nanboku Line, and Fukutoshin Line.
1. It displays the nearest subway station found to be the nearest to your current location (via GPS) in the widget.
2. The route colors and the numbers that show the order of the stations are the same as the ones used at the actual stations so that it will be easier to understand the information displayed.
3. Via the widget, you can view the application screen that shows the route guides and the schedules.
4. The GPS cannot be able to acquire information regarding your current location accurately when you're underground.
5. If you want to use it underground, please compare it with the guides found in the station you are currently in.
