Software Features and Description

1. Measure air pressure in a number of different units: inches mercury (inHg), kilopascals (kPa), millimeters of mercury (mmHg), atmospheres, hectopascals (hPa), or pounds per square inch (PSI).

2. Use your GPS-determined altitude to estimate air pressure at sea level to compare with weather stations around the world! Uses super-accurate reference to find very accurate altitude based on GPS location.

3. Using changes in pressure, the app displays an approximate elevation change from a reset point that you control.

4. View raw or adjusted pressure quickly using a Today Widget in Notification Center! This functionality requires an in-app purchase.

5. This app displays the current pressure as detected by the barometer sensor inside iPhone.

6. Measure altitude change in meters or feet.

7. If no network connection is available, the altitude is obtained directly from your GPS.

8. This means no network connection is required.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Simple Barometer,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Simple Barometer" » then Click "Install".
- Simple Barometer will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

This plain and truly the app app is pure. the app to use, unambiguous in display. Good option of units. Compared to airport reporting (while at the airport) I have not seen any appreciable difference, which is a function of the iPhone’s sensor.

Great 5 Star app! But what is the chance of you adding a Dark Mode to the Widget? For me it’s hard to read in the Light Mode you now have set up. But really a great app I use everyday! Thanks for putting it out there.

This barometer is an excellent tool for me. As an old man, post-polio, I am very aware of changes in the pressure. However, this confirms it is pressure that affects me and not muscular problems. The accuracy is superb. It is good to see the sea level adjusted pressure.
Very accurate.
