I’ve found that this app works great as long as you have your camera posed exactly the way you want it if using a tripod. Otherwise you need a partner to hold the camera who hopefully knows what he/she is shooting! The app works from at least 50 feet away, I haven’t had the opportunity to go further. Yes it can crash. All you have to do is hit the return button which looks like a circle with an arrow at the end. That usually will bring it back to where you were before it crashed. This app can’t do everything but for certain purposes it is wonderful! In order to connect it, you have to go on your phone and into your browser, such as Safari. Use the search engine of your choice, Google,etc. Go to your phone and it tells you what to type into your iPad/ tablet. There is space at the top where you type in the the https address. This sounds difficult but actually it is very easy. Good luck!

You can use this for so many applications. I can setup my iPad and then walk around the house with my iPhone seeing my iPad's camera. Works flawlessly and I have to believe whoever is rating it down just doesn't know what it is. It's basically a web server for your phone or iPad's camera.
Seems to require inet connection

Initial test worked fine, but I wanted to use it for off-roading. I can setup a local LAN in my truck, but it won't be connected to the internet. When I ran this test, both devices connected to the same local LAN, no internet, it no longer works. Appears software requires an internet connection back to some main server to work.
