Download an Android emulator for PC:

Totally worth every penny!

I was at work doing inventory on labels and that involved opening and closing boxes. So by the time I realized it I knew I was screwed. I had been working with over 20 pallets of boxes so I thought there was no hope. I tried setting alarms but there was no way I was going to hear my Alta vibrate because the building I worked in was super loud. I looked for about an hour and nothing. I finally gave up and took a break. Then a thought came to me to do a Google search. It led me to this app. I was hesitant at first because I NEVER PAY FOR APPS! Like this was the first app I’ve actually paid for. But since I really love my Fitbit, I figured I’d give it a shot. I finally came back to where I was doing inventory and followed the directions (which were super simple). I kid you not in a matter of 5 minuets I was able to the app my Alta. It was very helpful for me that I knew where I had lost it. But I mean it was very easy and honestly kinda fun it was like a game and the reward was VERY rewarding. If you are a Fitbit lover like myself I would recommend this app. It definitely helped me get out of my mess and I know it will probably continue to help me.

My Fitbit Flex 2 had been missing for a couple of days and I didn't the app it in any of the obvious places, on the dresser, next to the sink, in the car, etc., so I turned to the app My Fitbit yesterday evening (and not for the first time.) Got a warm signal, but very inconsistent, in our living room, so I took the couch apart, looked under all the furniture, magazines, etc., but no dice. By this time is was dark and supper was ready. My wife suggested that we could look outside the next day, but I was skeptical and afraid the battery would run down. So, I put on my hat and coat, and went outside. We had had a winter rain / ice / snow storm the day before, and a little bit more snow and wind that day. Got nothing at first, but when I walked around to the front of our house, near the living room, where we have a bird feeder, there was the warm signal again, then warmer, then hot, then, in the light of my flashlight, the wrist band of my Fitbit sticking out of the snow! It had fallen off when I was filling the feeder. I pulled it out and took it inside and showed it to my wife, crusted with snow and ice. Another happy ending, thanks to Fitbit, perseverance and a smart wife!
Works if you unpair the Fitbit

It works. You just have to unpair your Fitbit device from your phone. (Go to Bluetooth under general settings and do "forget this device.") This was counter-intuitive, and was very scary to me, because I was sure that I would never see my Fitbit again once it was unpaired. I was getting very desperate, because it had been gone for over a week, I searched high and low, and it was getting very low on battery, which I could see from the Fitbit app. Once the battery died I wouldn't be able to electronically the app it anymore. As soon as I unpaired ("forgot") it, the finder started to work, and in 5 minutes, I found it under my couch. I didn't even think there was any space under the couch, but there was apparently enough space for a fitbit to hide there. It had fallen into a very weird place. If not for this finder, I probably would've found my Fitbit when I moved out of the apartment in a year or two, and definitely would've spent more money on a new fitbit by then. Just remember: UNPAIR THE FITBIT... even though it seems weird and scary.
Brilliant Rescue After Yard-work Mishap

I was raking and bagging leaves today, then turned to tree trimming. When I wrapped up for the day, I noticed my watch was gone. After looking in the obvious places—unsuccessfully, I started to unbag the leaves. But, soon enough I thought: “There must be a better way,” so I googled, “How to the app a lost Fitbit,” and I found this app. I bought it doubting it could work and anticipating the bother of seeking a refund. But, it was worth a try at least, so I followed the instructions and started wandering the tracks of my day. Much to my surprise (since I didn’t expect it to work) when I got near the tree I was trimming, the signal started registering warm, warmer as I got closer and, for an instant, HOT! I lifted the top branch from the pile and could see my Fitbit in the dirt. Eureka! I was astonished! The band must have caught a branch, and it broke. I never write reviews like this, but I am so grateful. Thank you so very much. I love to be wrong at times like this.
