Buggy and painful to use

I really enjoyed the information in this app, but it drove me nuts in Machu Picchu and I can't recommend it. First while the opening animation is playing, if you click on 'done' it essentially hangs. Second none of the GPS functionality worked at all. My location services are on and it doesn't even show up as an app that wants to use gps. Maybe it needs an update with proper plist entries? Third why can I not click on an icon on the map and have it jump to information about it? The maps are essentially useless without this feature. There isn't even a name for the icons on the map... Fourth I found several of the places named differently than what the local guides call them which was frustrating. Fifth some information on some of the hikes would be useful. Ex the moon temple or the Inca drawbridge. All in all I found this extremely annoying and was really glad I had bought a local guide book as well. It's a real shame because for the couple of locations I did manage to find I appreciated the info.

Recently did Machu Picchu and found this app provided us hours of exploring and learning. Just as effective as any $30 guide could have been. Sometimes wished it had a better map/directions/gps feature, but getting lost was the best part of our adventure!
Great little app

Didn't want to carry a guidebook and this little app had a ton of useful information about the site and told me what exactly I was looking at. Guess I could have hired a guide but as I was on a budget this did the trick. Learned a lot.
