To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Desktop Clock Live,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Desktop Clock Live" » then Click "Install".
- Desktop Clock Live will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- Provides an analog clock face on the desktop that is readily available to glance at

- Style 15 is not intrusive and always available

- Clock retreats to its normal position behind everything when any key is tapped

- Great for use in radio studios

☹ Cons:

- Clock hovers on top of everything else when stepping away from the computer for a few minutes

- Issues with the Preferences window not closing properly

- Clock sets to midnight and then twirls a second to the correct time when running on top of other apps

- Difficulty in getting the position of the clock to stay in the desired location on the screen

- Non-information accompanying the app

- Confusing process for moving the clock

- Unable to access additional clock faces after updating the app

I got what I wanted

All I needed was an analog clock face to be on my the app, readily available to glance at. Using “Style 15” in the upper left corner of my the app, it’s never intrusive* and always available. It just works for all I need it to do. The caveat * is that when I step away from the computer for just a few minutes, the clock pulls itself forward of all the layers of open apps and what-have-you on the screen and hovers on top of everything else. That’s really just a tiny, minor gripe. As soon as you tap any key the clock retreats to its normal position, behind everything. I honestly don’t remembering paying to remove the ads, but I am not getting them. YMMV. So this app is doing everything I asked it to do, which wasn’t much, and doing it very well. So, five stars. If I were to use more features built in to the clock and of course, pay for them if need be, then my rating might be better or worse; we may never find out. But for now I am pleasantly satisfied that I got what I wanted.

I like the app, in spite of the non-information accompanying it. However, as is mentioned SEVERAL times above, moving it is confusing. It was only by reading a review here that I could get the app where I want it. It is unusual to find a company who DOESN’T WANT TO GENERATE MORE REVENUE. I am trying to update to access the additional clock faces. I too did the update and cannot update the features. $2.99 is a fair price for such frivolity. It is frustrating to not be able to use what I THINK I have paid for. Suggestion to the developers: Get off your laurels and fix this before customers start dropping your product from frustrated disgust. Thanks for reading. I will be one of those customers soon if you do nothing, ADDENDUM: for those who are still figuring out how to get rid of the notice to upgrade after you've upgraded, there is place to click "restore your purchase to stop ads" button in the app itself. It is under the Help Tab.
A Good App

I have enjoyed having the app and find using it convenient. The only thing I’ve had any problem with has been getting the position of the clock to stay in the lower left hand corner of my screen. It remains in the top left corner even thought I’ve tried several times to disable that option, reset it, and relocate it. Looking forward to more non-upgrade choices too.
Great Ap for our Radio Studio Computers

Great ap which does exactly what we need it to do in our radio studios. There are issues with the the Preferences window in that it doesn’t close properly. I see others are having the same problem, which means they’ll fix it. Also, when running on top of other aps the clock sets to midnight and then twirls a second to the correct time. This is not a real defect.
