1. After summarizing and analyzing a few dozen articles, I figured why not share them with other learners? In 2014 I released the first version of the stroke trials app and have been building upon it since.

2. During my vascular neurology fellowship, I found myself frequently unable to remember the details of landmark trials and having to go back and re-read them.

3. Share citations or full PDFs from one place without having to search PubMed.

4. Each trial summary highlights the results, limitations, and "the bottom line".

5. Narrow results using filters and use multiple filters simultaneously.

6. View trials alphabetically or chronologically.

7. Find key points in landmark studies fast.

8. This was inefficient, so I started writing them down.

9. I hope it helps you in your training as it did with mine.

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Stroke Trials"
The search will reveal the Stroke Trials app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Stroke Trials is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Stroke Trials.
Now enjoy Stroke Trials on PC.

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »

App no longer works

I keep trying to make this app work. It was so valuable to me when it did work. I am quite willing to pay and have sent payment through the App Store. I have tried deleting and then re-installing the app. When I tried to activate it, all I get is a screen telling me That I need to pay to use it. I can’t get past that screen. The app is worth the money, probably more. Nevertheless I can’t make this app work anymore. I’d love a fix

It scrolls as it is supposed to on my iPad. The person who said it doesn't is mistaken or hasn't updated his software properly. It's a simple app, but does what it promises.
Still crashes with the payment bug

Followed the directions, updated the iOS, reinstalled app, already purchased, but it still prompts me to buy or restore and crashes when I try to insert my email or cancel. Great app, just can’t use with the current bug.

app crashes every time after I just paid for it. Asks me to buy, restore, or cancel- despite my account having been charged the $4.99 + tax. Please fix the bug asap. The app was quite useful before this “trial period over” and inability to purchase the app issue that is clearly not resolved.
