This being one of the few the app fishing simulators on the store doesn’t matter. It is fun and just the option of the the app tying is worth the download. You get to fish and the more you do, you open more sites to fish, gain better gear, and are awarded new flies. If you have an idea for a the app design you can make the the app and then use that same the app on the water. Again, great game. Keep up the good work!!
Updated to HD - Still The Best Fishing Game on Any Platform!

Anyone looking for a great fishing game, mobile or otherwise, should read no further before downloading this app, right now, and get to some fishing. It is really that good! The casting and reeling mechanics are additctive, like a golf simulation, and the hatch and gear matching functions round out the gameplay. The visuals and audio that put you on the water, along with the tension of potentially breaking off during a fight that the retrieve mechanics impart really put this simulation above all other fishing games I've tried, again, on any platform. The addition of the floatant and desiccant features of the PC version of the game would be icing on the cake. Buy the whole thing outright or just grab the bits that appeal to you - you can't go wrong picking up Paul Halter's this app. (I'd plug his other titles, but I'm not sure the app store rules would allow it.) Great game!

So the game is well made, and really fun to play. It’s a little annoying how i can only get a tiny the app selection, and not many spots and very limited gear. But that isn’t the main problem. Once you hook to a trout, it is almost impossible to land it. I probably only land 1/4 trout because they break the line. I will literally leave my phone on the charger and watch TV for like 10 minutes and go back and try and land it and it is like I just hooked the fish. It gets pretty boring to go to the practice pond and catch 7 inch bluegill because whenever you hook up to a trout, you’re probably going to lose it. I really want to play this game, because it’s super realistic and very fun. But please fix this problem to make the game even better.

Great game to play and impressed. I was skeptical of a game on an iPhone. The developer has created what I would consider one of the best the app fishing simulators I've seen...realistic casting, line travel and an ability to match a hatch etc. The creator of the game is clearly a the app fisherman who proves his love for the sport through his attention to detail to create a realistic game and photograph/video some beautiful landscapes and rivers for you to enjoy. I highly recommend this game. -BarleyTheYellowLab
