  • Disappointed

    By Jenny10954 (Pcmac user)

I’m disappointed with this app. It has some good features, but it lacks some basic functionality: 1) If I come back from a break a couple of minutes late, I find that the next Pomodoro is already underway. So then I have to restart the app, which makes this not much better than a kitchen timer set to 25 minutes. 2) It doesn’t track how many Pomodoros have been completed. This is one of my main reasons for using an app, because again, otherwise a kitchen timer would suffice. I tried to contact the developers a few weeks ago about these issues, but when I hit submit on their support site, I received an error message. I tried again today and again got an error message. Overall, I’m regretting spending money on this app- I should have stuck with my phone’s timer.
  • Perfect

By John From Earth (Pcmac user)

Low CPU usage and simple, to-the-point functionality make this a great productivity timer. It’s great to have the short breaks because my posture invariably has come undone after being on the computer for hours. It also helps my mind digest what I was just working on and come back refreshed. As far as the Pom method, I find the 25min work + 5min short break to be too interrupting, so I set it to 45min work + 15min short break + 60min long break after three shorts (akin to a college class schedule with lunch in the middle). This keeps me honed in for 3hr in the morning, 1hr lunch, and 3hr in the afternoon. Perfect app, thanks!
  • This is it… for now.

    By Lendolion (Pcmac user)

I tried literally more than 30 different Pomodoro based apps and all of them had at least a thing I didn’t find suitable for my workflow. This is the first one that is almost entirely fitting my workflow, simple, minimal, unobtrusive (without purpose), and with keyboard shortcuts done right. The only thing I’m missing is the option to set the auto-play to either yes or no, but I can live without it.
  • The best time keeping app!

    By ZeroDrek (Pcmac user)

I researched a few time keeping apps before I decided to buy this one and I’m glad I went with this one. The updates for it have made it more than worth the money. Shortcuts to quickly access the app, Start/Stop, Pause/Resume, etc., choosing to have a break overlay or not, custom break and work times and more. It’s such a simple little app, but I love everything about it.
