What is Grip? Grip is an AI-powered event networking tool that helps professionals connect and reach their business goals faster. It offers a platform for passionate professionals, organizations, co-working spaces, and events to connect with each other and collaborate on new projects. Grip aims to make networking easy and fun, and it provides a way for users to establish meaningful connections that can lead to new opportunities.

- Grip's AI algorithm calculates the strength of your profile based on your actions, and the stronger your profile, the more handshakes you get.
- Users can log in with LinkedIn or Facebook to import their profiles to Grip.
- Users can add a one-liner to their profile to let others know what they are looking for.
- Users can join communities that interest them and connect with like-minded professionals.
- Grip's swipe feature allows users to anonymously swipe left or right on other members.
- When two users swipe right on each other, it's a handshake, and they can start communicating through the in-app chat feature.
- Grip's "Nearby" feature uses GPS to show users other members who are nearby. However, continued use of GPS can decrease battery life.
- Swiping interface for "percentile matches" is a cool UX for finding leads
- Proximity connector for nearby chatting is impressive
- Unable to add skills on iOS8 without the app crashing
- Suggested people are often far away and there are not many options
- Geolocation feature seems pointless if suggested people are over a hundred miles away
