So many questions on how to play

I was able to watch the How To video once. After I played a few times I had questions but couldn't find the video again. I have no idea how to power up or what the significance is of the flashing frames around some shapes. I have played several Mobilityware games. This one had potential but it's too frustrating. I even searched for help online and found nothing. Looks like I'll be deleting it and going back to my other Mobilityware apps.

I like this game. It is not a big time waster. It's not frustrating. When I have a few minutes to play this is a game I choose. It's fun and you can make progress without having to play the same level for weeks at a time.

Frustrating

I like the colors and the music, but I find the game frustrating.
Like reviewer BeeBeeBell, I watched the tutorial, but now that I’m playing I also have no idea what the squares around some shapes mean.
I don’t see why I have to write a letter to someone to get an explanation of something so basic.

i keep winning but can't figure out how!

i advance waves and know how to match but i can't figure out what the timing of a "wipe out" since the time isn't displayed is - or its someplace i can't find. i can get the screen to one shape left and lose, then leave 5 shapes and advance to the next level. makes no sense. what are those starfish? i get those and the next day they are gone, and i can complete a whole level and then have to start the level again. i would rather play tripeaks or solitaire. at lease when i lose at those games, i know why.
