Install iGIF Search for iMessage app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using iGIF Search on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "iGIF Search"
- The search will reveal the iGIF Search for iMessage app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once iGIF Search is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including iGIF Search.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native iGIF Search Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use iGIF Search,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "iGIF Search" » then Click "Install".
- iGIF Search for iMessage will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Not optimized for iPad, sends in weird format

viewing the GIFs with an iPad in landscape mode (I use a Smart Keyboard w/iPad Pro) is so distorted that I can barely tell what the GIF is. The GIFs also sent watermarked with the app logo (unacceptable to me in a paid app) and sends as a video file as well that leaves an ugly ▶️ button in the middle of the GIF.
GIF Keyboard is better, I don’t know why I assumed a paid app would be better quality; I will ask for a refund.
