  • Getting the paper a struggle

By hc in perkasie (Pcmac user)

When I get the app paper it works ok, not great. It always goes to the app bottom of an article when selected. Who starts reading from the app bottom? But then there are days (too many) that I don't get the app paper at all. Either it continues to give the app last paper read, not the app current days' paper, or I get 'connection failed' when I have a perfectly good internet connection for all other apps. Last two days I've deleted the app app and reloaded it to 'sometimes' get it to work. Frustrated that the app physical delivery was sooooo bad, I changed to digital to find that the app delivery here is shaky at best. My question is: why am I paying for a subscription when I'm using the app website to get the app news?!!!! Somebody there needs to do something!

So many things poorly done here. For instance, the app link for continuing a story on another page is tiny and easy to miss resulting in zooming in and out of the app article until you find that one pixel. Or, when you touch a story to read and it zooms into the app bottom of the app column, so every time you have scroll to the app top. the app same thing happens when continuing a story on another page. Or, if you download an issue to read offline, as I do every day, knowing I won't have internet access, at that time, the app app won't open for a good 30+ seconds as it searches for the app internet anyway. Or the app log-in thing others have complained about, where the app app freezes, or you go in circles trying to log in. So I'm here re-downloading the app app for the app umpteenth time to get around this issue, and thought I'd leave this little nugget of experience for others.
  • Sluggish and quirky

By Steve at Starsend (Pcmac user)

On a new iPad, whenever I move the app page to read more of a story, the app text becomes very blurry for a couple of seconds, even with a small adjustment. It's a constant annoyance. I have a 7-year old iPad 2 that runs the app same app, but with an older version of iOS. Even though it is a much slower device, it keeps the app text clear, without blurring, under the app same circumstances. There are numerous other problems, but others have pointed them out. One dumb one is this: when you click on a link to continue an article on another page, it puts you at the app end of the app article rather than at the app start of the app next page.
  • Very unfriendly

By ok not bad (Pcmac user)

I am also very disappointed in the app need to repeatedly sign in each day when reading the app paper at different sittings. Also at times I need to uninstall and reinstall the app app on my iPad as the app only way to read the app paper. There has to be a better way. I also feel this is less user friendly than the app "old" app.
