Seafe Photo Recovery for Pc

After countless hours of trying to find a free recovery software to recover some MP4 files from an SD card and there is not one free software thats works. So I looked to purchase one of the cheapest softwares, I decided to bite the bullet ad buy it despite the other negative review and boy did I make a mistake… I opened the software up and it won’t open anything, they dont even show up at all. My sd card didn’t show up, I tried a USB drive and it didn’t show up along with countless other things even though my mac is reading them. This is an awful program and I will only remove this review if I receive a refund or a functional software. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This software is garbage. It does nothing at all. Will not open any drives, does not populate any menu, does not offer any assistance. DO NOT WASTER YOUR MONEY. Now I have to buy something that works. refund my money and I will remove this review

Didn’t recover anything and took control of my trash bin. I had to remove program, restart mac mini and run bit defender toregian control .

Last night while shooting a wedding I switch to an SD card that I hadn’t used in a long time. Everything was working fine until my camera gave me a memory card error and I couldn’t shoot anymore. When I loaded the card to my computer, I would get a warning that the disk I inserted was not readable by Mac, I was given the option to initialize it but it showed no files. After reviewing all my available options on the App Store, I decided to buy one that had been updated recently and I found this one. Despite not having any reviews, I decided to take the risk. Its installation it’s a two step process. You buy the app and install it from the store. If you open it, it won’t show you all the mounted drives in your system. You have to download the Disk Assistant from the developer's website, for convenience, a link is given from the app. You might have to give persmission to your Mac to install it. When you run it, it’s pretty straightforward, the steps are easy to follow and I would suggest you select all the options when it asks how you lost your files. I almost had a mini heart attack when it finished scanning my SD card and it didn’t show previews of the files it found until I realized you have to manually select the option where it says deep scan on the left side of the screen, then I could see the files it could recover. Long story short… It works! It recovered files that I had deleted them and it even has an option to create a .dmg image of th SD card so you can reformat it and still have an image if you decide you need to recover more files in the future. It didn’t recover the files that I wanted, but it’s not the app not doing its job. It does what it promises and besides, I knew it was a long shot anyway. Like I said before; it’s an app worth what you paid for.
