Voice Diary for Pc

Update to review: I took a while off from using diaries, and came back trying to sign in with what I’ve always used as my passcode for this diary. I contacted support and was told due to privacy and convenience they cannot help me. This was a huge flaw for me...many platforms create a way to reset your password. This needs to happen on this app and if it can’t, not for me anymore!!! I use this app every single day sometimes multiple times a day to record myself as if I'm writing in her diary... it really helps to get things off my mind and feels like I'm talking to someone because I'm being recorded, very therapeutic. I even write in a diary so I am A very detailed person. I love this app and deleted it one time last year to see if I could live without it but could not for even one day😊. There's not a single app out there like this and I would not give this up for anything else since it helps me so much with getting things off my mind. I love that I can tag recordings and I can search for keywords so if I need to go back and find anything I can easily. It also has a passcode which is a must when you use this as a diary. One thing I wish it had was a better looking theme or different ways to organize it and it would be perfect!

The app itself is good. But in order for it to be great in my eyes, it needs more features than just tags. If you could write notes that would be awesome. Also, needs to be able to record while in the background. Anytime you leave the recording screen, to go to a different screen, the recording stops. Functionality is good, but needs work.

The set up of this app is wonderful I've tried so many apps and I just love this one. I wish they did have a way to choose a better recording quality and a way to let you continue on recordings that you finished before and maybe a way to back up. I'd be willing to pay a dollar or two for a pro version of this.

Great app Jane!! Thanks for adding speech to text support! I will def buy the 12 months premium but there is a glitch. iOS when I lock my phone it stops recording in the background. I should be able to lock my phone while it records! Also export speech to text to word doc or .txt file please.
