Fuel for Pc

I work in Youth ministry and constantly need quick documents to put out to the families we work with. This offers a clean cut way of creating incredible documents for whatever we need. I’m writing this review before I start working on our spring activities calendar. I feel there are a wide range of selections for multiple document formats. I’ve had no problems with customizing templates to fit our needs.

I’m very disappointed in this purchase. I saw the 14 five-star ratings and thought it was worth a chance, but I’m no regretting that. Had I been able to see a wider selectioin of the templates prior to purchase, I would have known this wasn’t what I needed. To make matters worse, when I tried to open one template, it says I need a newer version of Pages. But I just installed the latest available. This was a waste of money.

This template pack has some cool designs, but a rough count of the number of templates falls short of their claim of containing more than 1000. And many are just the same template, but using different colors. I have a couple other Pages template apps that regularly update their template collections. This one though, hasn’t been updated since April 2015. I hope they’ll add a few templates here and there over time. The templates themselves are pretty nice, but some are a little too “out there” for me. I’m a pretty creative person and love using unique and fun documents (i.e. invoices, brand style guides, etc) for my freelance marketing and web development biz. But a good number of these aren’t very suitable even for that kind of use. Furthermore, their menu bar on the left side that categorizes the different types of templates isn’t complete. For instance, they have magazine templates, but there is no magazine template menu item in their menu bar. I only came across the magazine templates by scrolling and scrolling and scrolling through all of their templates. So all in all, it’s an okay template app. But I think Toolbox for Pages and Templates for Pages (both available here in the App Store) are better choices, frankly.

I first saw this on MacUpdate and checked out the dev’s site. I wrote the dev with a question and was answered in a day. Based on his answer, I came to the MAS and bought this package. I’ve been using it for sseveral hours working on a couple of flyers and brochures, and I am really pleased with the attention to detail and outstanding artistry in the graphics. These are comparable to the wonderful art from Jumsoft. Highly recommended if you need a starting point on any of the different categories.
