Software Features and Description

1. INDIGO Control Panel is a member of our astrophotography tools family including also AstroImager, AstroDSLR, AstroTelescope, AstroGuider, FITS Preview, INDIGO Server for OS X, INDIGO Dashboard, INDIGO Script Editor, Astrometry for OS X and INDIGO Sky linux distribution for RaspberryPi.

2. INDIGO Control Panel is a part of a suite of software for astronomy and astrophotography built around INDIGO standard (successor of INDI).

3. Please note that INDIGO Server is standalone applications and is not part of INDIGO Control Panel.

4. It is a generic client for a local or remote INDIGO or INDI server.

5. It can be used to read or set any of the device driver properties and to download BLOBs/images.

Install INDIGO Control Panel app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using INDIGO Control Panel on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "INDIGO Control Panel"
The search will reveal the INDIGO Control Panel app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once INDIGO Control Panel is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including INDIGO Control Panel.
Now enjoy INDIGO Control Panel on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use INDIGO Control Panel,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "INDIGO Control Panel" » then Click "Install".
- INDIGO Control Panel will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
