- Incorporation of gems makes it difficult to progress without paying real currency

- Game essentially requires the use of fake currency to progress

Great game with a Strong Sucker PUNCH!!!!!

the app only thing I have to say, is that I have bought the app 1st and 2nd titles of this game before this version came out, and I totally love this version with the app only objection in which the app game developers practically force you to buy gems (the app internal currency of the app game) because almost all the app missions cannot be accomplished unless you use a gem and all task have to be finished within the app allotted time or they won't count, it will be better that a great reward or acquisition of an item that can't be found on your own is obtained when completing a task is obtained but you won't get anything if you don't finish in time you could still play the app game but take more steps to reach the app same goal, kind of play more or pay system instead of the app play more and pay, and still get nothing; more over what is the app point of having storage if the app tasks don't let you use your stored items in addition if doing tasks don't let you use stored items WHY do I have to get more storage to acquire them, lastly if a task can't be accomplished why do you allow it to happen and why is the app last piece of all blue prints for all the app upgrades can only be obtained with gems and not through playing the app game? Fix this please the app game has enough potential to be great but you guys at G5 are turning this great title into common day version of a communist fascist society!
Old version was great but...

I LOVED the app older version where the app in game stuff was completely free and the app only thing you had to buy was access to the app rest of the app game, which was relatively cheap. I played that for ages. I went to download the app game again and replay it but I was met with a nasty surprise. They incorporated gems?? What is this crap. I get they need to make money but this really, REALLY makes the app game unfun and more grueling. I would’ve just rebought the app access to the app rest of the app game, but I’m not wasting my money on Ingame currency. So far the app game is still interesting in fun a bit but the app gems really just throw me off and I hate the app gem system, not the app game. Game developers if you are reading this: Please remove the app gems, but incorporate something that will be just as effective for earning money but allows the app players to level up normally and actually play the app game without having to pay. Of course for different chapters or to continue the app game you can have a cost, but really I wouldn’t even bother buying gems if it were me, I’d play until it requires me to buy gems then I’d click the app good ol’ delete because the app audience target you have for this game can’t exactly buy gems whenever they need it just to expand their inventory. So thanks but no thanks. I love the app game but Ah he gems. Okay enough of the app rant. It is a wonderful game.
Don't play unless you want to pay big bucks

I would spend $5 to play a game like this but it is clear that one would need to pay a lot more to complete the app tasks in this game. I'm only on chapter 2 and have reached a challenge that costs 5 emeralds to complete. They give you 5 minutes to complete a task that has to "cook" for 5 minutes making it impossible to complete without paying emeralds to speed up the app process. You can win a limited number of emeralds - but it would be such a tedious process to do so and advance much of anywhere in the app game that no one would ever play. I don't mind games that you can complete without using the app fake currency or that take longer to complete without the app fake currency - but any video game that essentially requires you to use the app fake currency to progress is a scam. the app first warning should be any video game that has a store option for $99 real currency to get in game currency. I wouldn't pay $99 for any video game but these games know how to hook people and take their cash. Developers need to make money - but they should do it honestly and upfront. Not by hooking people, making them invest in a game to go a little further and then requiring them to continue to invest to keep playing.
Great Game, Update Please

Love this game! Gameplay is reasonably paced, ad-free, *highly* addictive, AND doesn’t include any “hidden object” or “matching game” side quests to further your progress. Even while you are waiting for items to be ready/available for one quest, you can be collecting/storing items for other quests. Unfortunately, the app current levels max out at “Chapter 11: Predatory Lands,” (with the app major tease of seeing “warehouses” and several other cloud enshrouded lands on the app map). the app only negative feedback I have for this game is that it seems G5 has given up on updating it as of 2-3 years ago. There are many fans of this game who have left similar reviews over the app last several years, and I have yet to see a response from the app developers. While it would be nice to hear news about whether we can expect an update or not, don’t let that deter you! This is definitely my favorite town-building/adventure/strategy game.
