- The app has a nice and fresh look.

- The app does not allow pausing or stopping live video while staying logged in to watch embedded video.

- The app has issues with recognizing subscription packages.

- The app has problems with video playback and syncing.

- The news on the app is not updated daily and often repeats old news.

Functionally, the app seems quite stable at this early vantage point, as most components interconnect with one another seamlessly. One drawback that i'm sure will be addressed in the coming days, as this is a virgin app, is the ability to pause or stop live video all the while staying logged in to then be able to watch embedded video that is part of articles. But for a first step, this app takes a giant one. Keep at it!

The app keeps telling me that my subscription package does not include this programming. I have a a subscription. Please fix. Tried logging out and logging in even deleted the app and reinstalling. Won’t let me watch video. This app seams “dead” no one at the app support understand the problem or how or who can fix it. I was talking to someone in California who has never heard or seen this app or NY1.

This app load the news sometimes without using the live button and your have to use the syncing button to see the programs after you scroll up or down on the screen. This happens on this iPad Pro 2nd Gen all the time. This app needs to be updated. January 30, 2018 This this app app still have same problems as I stated above on October 13, 2017. Apple said it is the developer that has to fix this app. The last updates didn’t fix this this app app. February 6,2018, this this app app have not worked on this iPad Pro so I finally deleted this app. Maybe one day they will fix/update this app so it will work on apple new products
Old News

I just downloaded the app. It looks nice and fresh. But when you dig in deeper you see that the news is from four days ago, five days ago, seven days ago. I read the news every day and I don’t want to see repeated old news. The news needs to be from the day you’re looking at it for it to be worthwhile. Of course, that’s my opinion.
