Waste of money, doesn’t work on a brand new iMac.
  • Too many issues

From worse to bad: - Re-uploads photos already uploaded (at least if you quit the app before it’s done uploading the entire library) resulting in duplicate photos and sets in Flickr (allow deletion setting is checked too) - Requires 2 extra in app purchases to get the full functionality - Asks to reauthorize Flickr everytime the app is launched - Does not remember the selected iPhoto library when relaunching - Prompts for new version available (2.9.4) at every launch while the app is already at version 2.9.5 from the App Store - Uploads only 1 photo at a time - Pauses several seconds between each photo upload - Progress bar behaves erratically by going forward and backward during uploads - App did crash once after pausing the transfer
  • Fantastic for iPhoto!

I loved knowing that all my imported photos in iPhoto were automatically backed up to Flickr, so if I ever lost my laptop / the app drives, I’d be able to safely re-import my photos again. Unfortunately, as software advances, some things don’t keep up. I’ve upgraded to Yosemite (and soon El Capitan), and with that, iPhoto has been upgraded to Photos, and this app no longer works with the new Photos. I’m going to switch to Flickr’s native Mac uploader, but I doubt it will be able to detect the duplicates that I’ve already uploaded, which means I’ll need to upload all 60GB again. (Edit: actually no! Flickr’s native app did indeed detect all photos I have already uploaded with this app! Fantastic!) If you’re using iPhoto still, this program is fantastic!
  • Very impressed!

This little app is a workhorse! I had over 28,000 photos to transfer to Flickr and although it took about 3 days for it to process everything, it never crashed once and it forced my computer not to go into sleep mode to get it all done. (one of the settings) When I first tried the app, I didn't realize that I had to find and choose the library that I wanted transferred over and didn't pick a library so I got an error message. I contacted customer support at 3am and surprisingly, they got right back to me to guide me through the process. I don't know if there were any dupes or omissions because of my enormous library, but so far it all looks good! I highly recommend this app!
