1. This app works in conjunction with the Wheel Writer 2.0 toy, allowing you to create personalized pictures, messages, animations and custom speedometers.

2. Wheel Writer 2.0 app allows you to create and display light images and animations directly onto your Wheel Writer 2.0 hardware.

3. Custom displays will then appear when synched with you sync cable and Wheel Rider 2.0 Toy (purchased separately at Retail or online).

App worked perfect for me and my son. I did use the factory reset right before of holding all 3 buttons for 3 seconds and made sure the volume was turned up. When i sync'd a volume comes up. Crank up the volume and make sure cable is fully plugged in both the app writer and the ios device. It failed a few times until i got it right. We were using original ipad for our success

Awesome bike accessory!! People that write bad reviews are just dealing with user errors. Like the dude that was suspicious when he read that WW needed to access his 3.5 headphone or people have their volume down. Data transfers with power that is governed by the volume control. No volume no power for data. Hopefully WW team is working on the new version Thanks guys

If you have trouble, line the star on magnet w/ star on W.W. They need to be close w/o kissing. Turn on W.W. & wait a few secs. If the whole bar doesn't light up, move the tire back & forth a little for magnet to register. U should see the bar light up now. For sync'n with cable, I have no clue. The end of my cord broke off when I stuck it in ever so gently in W.W.

I have found that if you turn up the volume to max on your device,the app writer works like stated. And make sure the app writer is on as well. Check to make sure your not trying to plug in the wrong side of the sync cable.
