Install Pocket Chess app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Pocket Chess"
The search will reveal the Pocket Chess app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Pocket Chess is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Pocket Chess.

Pretty good!

It’s good, but the AI doesn’t act like a human. The mistakes it makes are ridiculous, and same with the mistakes it doesn’t make. It’s at the same time too smart and too dumb to be a human. So in that way, it’s unlike playing a normal game of chess. But that’s not necessarily its design. It’s great for practicing and playing chess on your own. Sometimes I get frustrated with it, but it’s still very well made. Would definitely recommend. Very fun and very good. 👍

Board incorrect

Queen and king are reversed. This presents difficulties in playing out classic strategies. Nice app other than that.

Needs an undo button, also too easy. Hard mode could be easily beaten by a 1600 and up with minimal thinking.
