1. Change List X analyses two Final Cut Pro X Projects and produces a change list comparing the Primary Storylines of the two versions of the edit.

2. The Change List is the step-by-step instructions to convert the current project to conform to the new edit.

3. A Change List lists changes made between one edit and another version of the same edit.

4. What they need are the steps to convert the version they been working on, to the latest revision: how many frames trimmed here, or added there; which shots have been added, and which deleted or replaced.

5. This comes into play when you’ve handed over the “Final” version to VFX, post audio and a color pass.

6. And that’s where a Change List comes in.

7. Except those teams have already moved ahead with their jobs and have complex projects built around the timing of the first edit.

8. Finally, you reached picture lock and send the project off so the sound department can start work.

9. Another pass by the Director, Studio suggestions, feedback from a focus group: it’s inevitable.

10. They can’t take the new edit and start over.

11. Because “Final” is never “Final” and “Locked” is regularly “Unlocked” again.

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Using Change List X on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Change List X"
The search will reveal the Change List X app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Change List X is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Change List X.
Now enjoy Change List X on PC.
