  • Great useful App!

    By seenondv (Pcmac user)

I have included my previous review below on this app because it was an issue at the time, but the developer fixed it. I can say that as of the time I am posting this, the app still works well for me.(Using El Capitan) because I didnt want to have the invasive features of the latest OS. I am still enjoying the functionality even though it hasnt been updated in years. Which is a shame. This is a very unique app and one that has come in very handy. Would have loved to have seen the ability to attach files to a posting, but as it stands, I am just glad it works still. *** Update. Looks like it is working for Yosemite now. Glad to have it back. This is a useful app that I have need of daily. I enjoy having the ability to log different milestones in projects or keep records of phone calls.
  • Good for note taking and storing

    By writegrandma (Pcmac user)

This is maybe a 3 star app because it’s missing some features that would make it more useful. However, it’s a 5 star app in terms of customer service - hence the 4 stars. There were some 1 star reviews right after Yosemite was released, even though the developer had posted a message on this page saying he had an update that was waiting approval from Apple - that just wasn’t fair. It’s good for note taking, which is kind of the point of th app. I just wish it were a little more full featured.
  • Folders?

    By TimHenley (Pcmac user)

I love the fact that this app is simple…almost too simple. It would be helpful to have the ability to organize the notes into folders. I use this at work to keep track of what I’ve done throughout the day and the more I use it the more individual notes I am beginning to compile. It would be helpful to be able to create folders (or categories with a open/close toggle) that I can then drag each note into. Other than that, keep up the good work!
  • Bugs keep me from giving 5-star rating

    By Jane Laurie (Pcmac user)

This app was exactly what I was looking for and the only app out of all the journal, calendar, and log apps at the App Store that met my needs. However there are a couple of bugs that would create dire consequences for someone who relies on this app for extensive documentation (legal notes, tracking work tasks or billable hours as suggested). The two bugs: 1) I must have accidentally deleted a note when I got up and returned to my computer, which means that there must not have been a confirmation asking me whether or not I wanted to delete. (Hopefully it was not some other bug related to the autosave feature.) 2. Every time I tried to use the undo feature, the app crashed, which meant I couldn't restore the note that was deleted in error. I will keep using it because it was the most recent note deleted and for what I'm using it, I was able to restore the note somewhat from memory. But it would reduce me to tears if I were relying upon it for serious documentation. If these bugs were fixed, I'd come back and change my rating to 5 stars.
