Install Trnio 3D Scanner app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Trnio 3D Scanner on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Trnio 3D Scanner"
- The search will reveal the Trnio 3D Scanner app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Trnio 3D Scanner is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Trnio 3D Scanner.
- Now enjoy Trnio 3D Scanner on PC.

Used to work on my phone...

But now every time I try to scan an object, all it does is take an image and no more. There is no green line showing my path walking around the object. I have an iPhone 6.
If you guys can help me out I’d really appreciate it... I will change my review if I get it to work again.
UPDATE: My gyroscope stopped working after a battery change. I’m hoping to get better results with the photo taking method. If anything changes with my experience. I will update the rating. So far it seems to only be giving me a 180 degree scan.

While this is a cool app where is my data being stored?
Is it seen internally?
If this is done for a confidential client this could have security risk being processed on an independent server
That opens a whole new list of questions about security standards and protocols to be compliant.

3D fun!

I love this app. I've had it for years and think it's one of the most overlooked apps.
I use it to capture things that I think I'll be nostalgic about. Like my kid sleeping, a corner of my garden, a cool old car, childhood toys, or anything I want to keep for posterity. The other day I did a 3D model of my dog and 3 legged cat sleeping❤️
The selfie feature is pretty cool too!
One feature that I think would be cool is being able to like other people's models.

The best 3d scanning mobile solution

I’ve been searching for a good 3D scanning mobile solution since 123D Catch got cancelled and I think i finally found it. The speed of processing is impressive and the results turn out clean and clear, if you take good photos.
If it’s possible, it would be great to have USDZ support alongside obj. It would make it super easy to share with friends.
