Software Features and Description

1. Students and Instructors can receive alerts in the Halo alert sidebar and mobile app when they receive a new private message or a new announcement.

2. Additionally, Halo students can receive alerts when an assessment score is published, when any assessment is reassigned, or when a new group collaboration message is posted for a group assignment.

3. The Halo Learn mobile app allows you to receive push notifications for alerts related to your Halo classrooms.

4. All alerts in Halo are opt-in, giving you the flexibility to choose which alerts to receive and on which devices.

5. Please note that you must have an active Halo Learn account with GCU or a GCU partner school to use the Halo Learn mobile app.

6. You can easily adjust your alert preferences directly in the mobile app or Halo website.

7. Both students and instructors can expect more new alert types to be added in 2025.

Install Halo Learn app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Halo Learn on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Halo Learn"
The search will reveal the Halo Learn app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Halo Learn is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Halo Learn.
Now enjoy Halo Learn on PC.
