What is PaperChibi Lite? PaperChibi Lite is a free iOS application that allows users to design and print 3D Avatar papercraft. The Lite version offers shorter boxy avatars, while the full version provides taller avatars, T-Rex, and cars. Users can create personalized chibi avatars, change their clothes, hairstyle, eyes, and more. The app is ideal for school art classes and storytelling projects.
1. If you love PaperChibi Lite please buy the full version: print the taller avatars (top row in screenshot #4), T-Rex and cars (screenshot #5).
2. Chibi avatars are completely customizable! There are several print options that vary in poses and difficulty.
3. The Lite version lets you print the shorter boxy avatars in screenshot #3 and #4 (the bottom row).
4. Check out our video to see how it works: Make cute chibi avatars; change their clothes, hairstyle, eyes, and lots more.
5. Take a photo of the chibi avatars you've made and share them on Instagram or Twitter with hash tag #paperchibi.
6. Use AirPrint to send finished chibi directly to your printer; set your printer to use 8.5"x11" or A4 paper.
7. Make a t-rex or a car for your chibi to ride in (requires full version).
8. To assemble: use an adhesive dot roller, scrapbooking glue dots, a glue stick, or small strips of double sided tape.
9. Then print and make real 3D papercraft avatars.
