1. Designed for use alongside the keyboard’s own dual display system and extensive onboard controls, the BK-9 Performance Editor gives you a powerful tool for enhancing your BK-9 experience while performing, practicing, and composing.

2. Use the Apple iPad to display and edit the real-time performance parameters of your Roland BK-9 Backing Keyboard.

3. With the BK-9 Performance Editor, you can use your iPad to directly access the BK-9’s real-time performance parameters as you play the keyboard.

4. Via the iPad’s graphic display and large touchscreen, you have quick and convenient control of a wide selection of parameters, including tone editing, part mixing, effects, and much more.

5. - BK-9 Version 1.06 or later (available as a free download from the Roland website) is required in order to use this app with the BK-9.

6. - Roland WNA1100-RL Wireless USB Adapter (connected to the BK-9) and a wireless LAN access point with an Internet connection.

Install BK-9 Performance Editor app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using BK-9 Per on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "BK-9 Per"
The search will reveal the BK-9 Performance Editor app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once BK-9 Per is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including BK-9 Per.
Now enjoy BK-9 Per on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native BK-9 Per Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use BK-9 Per,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "BK-9 Per" » then Click "Install".
- BK-9 Performance Editor will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
