What is La mia voce?
"La mia voce" is an assisted communication tool designed for people who, for example, have head or neck cancer and find themselves without a voice or with difficulty speaking. The app was created based on the needs of these people to respond to common or particular situations in their lives. It is a useful tool for those directly involved and those close to them (doctors, nurses, or other health professionals, family or friends). In a few simple and intuitive steps, "La mia voce" allows those without a voice to express what they want, from asking for help to emotions. Different functions also allow you to customize the app to better meet daily needs.
1. In pochi passaggi e in modo intuitivo “La mia voce” consente a chi si trova senza voce di esprimere ciò che vuole, dalla richiesta di aiuto alle emozioni.
2. "La mia voce" è uno strumento di comunicazione assistita studiato per chi, ad esempio affetto da un tumore della testa o del collo, si trova senza voce o con difficoltà a parlare.

- More than 130 icons, each associated with a name and a pre-recorded phrase (male or female voice chosen by the user)
- "Pain" category, useful in case of pain, to describe its level, type, and area of the body where it occurs
- "New icon" function allows you to insert new customized icons with images and phrases
- "Favorites" function collects the icons chosen as favorites by the user and two sets of icons useful in the hospital and when away from home
- "Write and listen" function offers the possibility to enter text and have it reproduced by a speech synthesizer
- "Me" function allows you to enter personal information that can be modified or deleted at any time
- "Draw" function offers the possibility to use the device as a sheet of paper by drawing with a finger what you want to communicate
- "Amplifier" function allows you to record messages and play them back at a higher volume
