Great Cleanup for re-claimed Space!

I’m on an iMac, late 2011, with 12GB of RAM, running El Capitan. I’ve used other “apps”, but none has returned more space the "this app". Have it for more than 1.5 years, I run this app every month & usually re-claims about 1.3GB including many hidden files. I like to keep my iMac “clean” also by using Dr. Cleaner which offers Disc Cleaning & Memory Optimization, (removes previously closed apps footprint automatically). Would highly recommend this app! And it’s Free.
Excellent Free Cleaner

This does exactly what it says. i cleared up about 4 GB of space. I dont know why some of the reviewers below are complaining about loging into the account. I downloaded from iTunes and The App gave me a clear option to continue WITHOUT logging in. Which is what i did, and it worked fine, first try. Just to reiterate, you DO NOT need to log in.

Bait and switch…! This firm is completely illegitimate ! They claim and are sold on the stores as ‘ Macintosh ‘ compatible. Yet the product will not install. You call the toll free number, and they ASK you for critical access to your desktop. They play around for a minute….then ask you if you can see the “ exe “ file….AND I TOLD THEM THIS WAS A MACINTOSH.!!! They then transfer you to tech support…..IN ANOTHER PART OF THE PHILIPPINES WHERE YOUR LAWYER CANNOT TOUCH THEM….and they say, “…WE HAVE NO SUPPORT FOR MACINTOSH EXCEPT BY EMAIL…” They need your email address?! Just to assist with a product that will not install AND SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN SOLD?!!! Hahahahahahah!!! THIS is service? Are you joking!!! Now I have to run out and buy a security software to prevent all the damage THEY MAY TRY TO DO!?? THis company and its products are a SCAM! They epitomize deceptive practices! A complete waste of time and money. In MY OPINION…in all ways this company is a RIP-OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the best cleaner I’ve used. I’ve tried other programs, but I wasn’t too impressed with them, I always came back to this one. The only suggestion I’d make is when I clean my system and I have Safari open, it says I need to quit Safari before I continue. It would be nice if this app closed it for me. Great app! Edit (October 3, 2018): Still a great app and I use it alot but it's been two years since it was last updated and I'm beginning to notice problems with this app running on macOS Mojave that I have not had running on older versions of macOS. Plus, this app really needs dark mode. Please update it!
