Won’t open

I have been playing this game since it first came out. I’m not very fast and I play whenever I get a chance. I haven’t completed all the cases yet, but only have a few left. I opened the game this morning, but had to close it because something came up. Now it won’t open at all. Tries to, but then goes back to my iPad homepage. Not sure what to do. Don’t want to delete and reinstall because I don’t want to lose what I’ve done and the gems and hints I have built up. I can’t contact support because I can’t get in the game to get id#. I tried contacting support thru app support, but says page doesn’t exist. I, of course, rebooted my iPad and then tried to open, but it wouldn’t open. I have given the game 3 stars. It really is fun and challenging. If I delete and reinstall and my progress is lost, I won’t play anymore. It is definitely my favorite game but ........I have never had any problems with this app, ever.
UPDATE: I didn’t realize that I was no longer connected to Facebook in this game. I connected to Facebook and it is opening perfectly now. I now give it five stars. Love this game!

Excellent customer service

I have been playing this game for at least a year. In all that time the game has worked perfectly. Recently, as we all know, the teapot in the sushi bar did not work. I am very pleased the developer fixed the issue very quickly and took the time to respond to everyone that wrote in about the problem.
Some players complain about the slowness of new quests. I find the Special Investigations engrossing between quests and keep my skills up. I know the quests are released when they are completed, giving the game developers time to make sure they are challenging and everything works. I appreciate the attention to detail, and savor the wait for the new quests as I know they will be fun and interesting.
A big thank you to the developers for all they do, and again, thank you for the very quick fix and response.

Fun game, but very pricey!

I really enjoy this game but compared to others I play, free game time is very short, maybe 15 minutes, and trying to buy more time is very expensive. So if I play 10 to 15 minutes for free, then pay $5 for more diamonds, that adds about another 15 to 20 minutes. I rarely buy more time, I just play for about 12 minutes for free per day. My other game apps have unlimited playing time for a lot of the games and you can replay them. I only hafta pay money for special competitions and special playing features. With this game, you pay to play and pay a lot!! I really only play it about 12 minutes once a week. I wish it had more free pay or reasonable pricing. It is a shame. I was absolutely shocked when I found out that free play was so limited, and the first time I paid $5 for diamonds to buy more time and got maybe 15 more minutes. No thank you, so I just play a little for free every once in a while.

Good game, but...

I really enjoy this game. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's really challenging (items can be camouflaged too well). My one complaint is that item names can be confusing, like "bow". Do they mean a hunting bow or a gift wrap bow? This may be intentionally ambiguous on the developer's part, but it complicates things. Also, I think the developer uses U.K. English for some item names, as they're things I've never heard of (and I have a pretty good vocabulary) - like "pice-nez" for spectacles. For those items I have to hunt-and-peck to find, or use a precious item finder. Finding those items can get aggravating. But overall I really like it.
