What is Duke Nukem? Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project is a 2D sidescrolling action game that was originally released in 2002 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Duke Nukem. In the game, Duke Nukem must use his weapons, insults, and name-calling to rid New York City of an army of mutants created by the maniacal Mech Morphix using G.L.O.P.P. The game blends together the best elements of Duke Nukem 3D and the first two games in the series, Duke Nukem and Duke Nukem II.
