Good Device/App, Better if it were Smarter

I’ve been using this Device/App combo for several years now. I believe that wireless is where technology is moving to. Given that large corporations are “pushing” their customers to the cloud. I for one would rather have this device where I have my data with me when I need it. the app is doing great things here. There is one thing that bugs me about this Device/App combo. It’s not Smart. The App should recognize the Device is turned on and broadcasting, then pop-up a message asking “The App will now disconnect you from the current WiFi and connect to the the app WiFi. Are you ok with this?” So of course I would say Yes, since I am wanting to work with the Device. When I am done, I close the app, it will Automatically disconnect the the app WiFi and connect me back to my WiFi. That’s it, all done within the the app app. Then turn off your the app Device. But no, at present, you have to go into 2 apps and do multiple steps before you gain access to the WiFi the app drive. Also, connecting by Web Browser is nice, but does not have the features that the app provides. Fixing this oversight would be a boon to your customers.
Great idea! Apple connectivity is worthless.

Small, portable extra storage is always appreciated and this little guy is wireless too. The removable SD card is a huge plus! The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it doesn't connect with my iPhone very well. This might be an apple problem too. It would be nice if the battery was replaceable as well. But all in all it works just as advertised and that's its biggest plus. Oh and I read it was hard to setup but I had no issues at all and was up and running in 3 minutes. I think a beginner would be able to do it in 5 minutes if they follow the directions, which are clear.
Excellent Product

I use this drive to wirelessly watch movies on my iPad Pro. I love that I don’t have to use my tablet memory for all my movies. Connection is quick and easy and video quality is excellent. Movies never lag or buffer. So much easier than using Itunes to transfer movies to my tablet. Transfer rate from laptop onto pen drive is quick. I have only two suggestions...enable closed caption support, and design a better forward/reverse/pause menu. One large button in the middle of the screen would be excellent. Sometimes I lose time trying to tap on the small buttons on the bottom... I have fat fingers! Otherwise 10/10...
Scan Disk Invaluable

Scan Disk performs an invaluable function - backup of important files to a small, portable USB device. Critical data is now protected against all possible events that could destroy your most import files. iPhone meltdown, computer meltdown (destroys iOS phone backups), fire or flood in office that ruins computers and external drives etc can no longer destroy critical data. Most import files are now safe and secure on your Scandisk! External USB drives/disk media material has a natural lifetime of 7 - 10 years. (Don't forget to backup your Scandisk after several years.) ----- Scandisk interface is minimal. Grammar/syntax should be edited by a language pro for more precise grammar and explication.
