As a USA veteran with a Military Intelligence background I can honestly say that this app does not try to miss lead or bend the news. Most of the stringers that they hire are US Citizens that just happen to be in the area where something is going on. Writers can sell their stories to CBS ,NBC or who ever. the app just picks up the stories faster and sends them out. I don’t feel that they can or would harm the US. As a news service they are top notch, fast and always where the news is happening. They are the first news app that I read throughout the day. Give them a try and make up your own mind.

After using this app for over 2 years now i have been really impressed. I will admit i was skeptical at first, they are russians, wink wink lol. But the amount of reporters they have across the globe from all countries and regions makes it very hard to be biased and even harder for corporations and govt to control all of that. The articles are very well written and get very detailed on things the msm misses, because they are told to miss things. the app is an amazing news agency and you should at least give them a chance. It may open your eyes a little.

Help - lately my iphone 4 is having problems with the app. It crashes constantly after I read a few articles or immediately on returning to open tab? It has worked fine in the past? Has there been a recent update to cause this? How can I archive my bookmarks off the iPhone and consolidate them from multiple devices? Much of the app's news items appear sourced from diverse western media outlets- with easy links to verify source. Provide a great variety of news coverage and expose the blatant propaganda manipulation of the western mainstream media. Best news aggregator I have found.
Great Alternative to Mainstream Western News Sources

While the app is most certainly not balanced, they at least make no pretensions to be. the app wears its heart on its sleeve, so to speak, which is a nice change from the farcical attempts at objectivity made by other news outlets. They feel no need to tow the line of the official Western sources, which means readers can often get a more truthful side of a story. On the flip-side, they do feel the need to tow the line of the Russian government. Like any news source, an intelligent, rational reader should be able to easily discriminate between good reporting and blatant propaganda.
