1. The Healthy Horse App allows horse owners and professionals to estimate the body weight of adult Arabians, draft horses, adult and juvenile miniature horses, stock horses, saddle-type horses, ponies, Warmbloods, and Thoroughbreds using new equations developed through University research by entering in the equine’s height, body length, neck and girth circumference.

2. Ideal body weight is also calculated for each breed-type using newly developed equations through University research by entering in the equine's height and body length.

3. The Healthy Horse App is now available in both Spanish and English and users can enter measurements in either imperial or metric units with results displayed in either pounds or kilograms.

4. Determining a horse’s body weight is important for bodyweight and feeding management, and administration of medication.

5. The app gives an estimate of an equine’s actual and ideal bodyweights and should not replace an examination by a qualified professional.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Healthy Horse"
The search will reveal the Healthy Horse app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Healthy Horse is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Healthy Horse.
Now enjoy Healthy Horse on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Healthy Horse,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Healthy Horse" » then Click "Install".
- Healthy Horse will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Not worth the money.

All this does is calculate the weight of your horse which you can do for free. Latest version works great. I was told this helped with scoring and body condition but that doesn't seem to be the case. Good for stock or Arabians due to their unique body features by imputing more data - so more accurate measurements. No diagrams on body conditioning or ideal weights. Good start but lots of room for improvement for a paid app. 😩

You should include instructions on where to measure the girth and the neck. Also, should the length be measured from mid chest to point of buttock or to mid-tail?

Tried this with both my horses & the calculations were not a good representation of my horses' weight. Sure wouldn't plan a feed program according to this. Am going to delete the app
