What is Ayat? The Al Quran app is an electronic Mosshaf project by King Saud University that provides a scanned copy of the real printed Mosshaf. It offers various features such as recitations by famous reciters, the ability to repeat each Aya, search through the Holy Quran text, direct browsing of the Mosshaf, five Arabic Tafsir, text translation of the Holy Quran meanings for more than 20 languages, voice translation for two languages, sync between recitation and Aya position in the page, and program interface in both Arabic and English.

Software Features and Description

1. تلاوة للقرآن الكريم بصوت العديد من مشاهير القراء - منها تلاوتان برواية ورش عن نافع.

2. الإختيار بين مصحف المدينة المنورة أو مصحف التجويد الملون أو المصحف برواية ورش عن نافع.

3. Providing copy of Mosshaf Al-Madina, copy of Mosshaf Al-Tajweed (colored according to Tajweed rules) and copy of Mosshaf Warsh (Rewayat Warsh An-Nafei').

4. ربط تزامني بين الآية التي يتم تلاوتها ومكانها في المصحف وترجمة معانيها.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Ayat"

Once Ayat is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Ayat.

Finally a Qur'an app that we can download confidently. It has all the features that one expects and much more. And at anytime the app can be updated to add or enhance feature I don't really care about the interface and other features. The most important thing is the trust that it would not contain misinterpretations is good enough reason for me to download it and rate it 5 stars as that's the max rating I can give. This is exactly what I was looking for in terms of a Quran app. I like the mushaff and I can just tap and hold to see the translation of the ayah in front of me. Great bookmark feature that differentiate between memorization and reading of the mushaff. Great selection of reciters. It takes a little time to get used to but overall a great App to understand and memorize the words of Allah most high. JazakAllahu khair for publishers and designers.

Everything is awesome about this app except the bookmarks part may be improved if multiple people are reciting from the same cell phone there could be multiple/personalized bookmarks option that would be great. Also if the bookmark option can be seen from the this app end that would be great.. JazakAllah khair.
The app needs updates

The App. is not keeping the bookmark on the page selected, when I come back to it & I have to go back thru the process of choosing the language. It is a safe App. Which has Tafsir and it is from Saudi Arabia and have everything I need, but please it needs to be updated. This is my second request for its update. Thank you and God bless you for the magnificent job on this App. Mrs. Chehade
