Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Speedometer. GPS on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Speedometer. GPS"
The search will reveal the Speedometer. GPS app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Speedometer. GPS is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Speedometer. GPS.
Now enjoy Speedometer. GPS on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Speedometer. GPS Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Speedometer. GPS,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Speedometer. GPS" » then Click "Install".
- Speedometer. GPS will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Perfect bare bones daylight bike speedometer, visible in daylight

Does exactly what I need for bike rides without draining the battery as quickly as Strava on my older iPhone 4s. Excellent daylight visibility. No intrusive permissions to access personal info or Facebook account. Low key non-intrusive ads. If the paid version recorded standard GPX or other data for upload to Strava it could be a useful alternative to the sometimes unreliable Wahoo Fitness. No need to display ride data. Just record it for uploading to Strava or output to users choice. Add auto pause/resume, it'd be perfect.

I recommend buying this because it works perfectly and it was put up against a the app and it was going the exact same speed as the the app

Great extra the app to have when traveling anywhere in any vehicle. Good for vintage cars when the dash the app could be a little quirky. Easy to read and use.
Good, but very basic

I’d love to see a setting to allow the inclusion of time spent stopped included in the average speed calculation. For example, on a cross country trip I like to know my absolute average speed so I have a better idea of how my scheduled or unscheduled stops have impacted my average speed.
