Seriously what are people expecting in a $2.99 simulator? This is a fun little sim and worth every penny. A great amateur effort. It's fun to goof around with for a few minutes now and again. What's not to like? It's obviously not Flight Simulator X or anything but if you understand what you are getting then it can be worthwhile. One thing that is superior in this app then in most flight sim apps is the crash effects. The general user interface is obviously designed more for a touch idea. I haven't tried Windows 8 but the UI feels like it does the same things that people complain about Windows 8 in the reviews: like you use the mouse as if it were your finger on a tablet: I'm talking about like going through settings and selecting things. So when you can't figure out how to go to the next plane, it's not click the arrow, it's click and drag as if the pointer were your finger. The replay feature is great too. A suggestion for the developer: I think if you refined your interior models a bit and added ATC audio communications you could do a nice airliner sim with the same idea. Call it "Final Approach" Also, I bought this to try out my new gamepad and that worked fine but there were absolutely no settings to customize that…that would be nice. Oh and Full Screen works fine on my 2012 iMac. Not sure about the other guys issue. The dev really should make the app ONLY run in full screen anyway.

This game requires some patience but the results are rewarding. I initially made the mistake of just rushing through the quick tutotrial before trying to land and crashing time after time. Now, after almost giving up on this game, and ignoring it for months, I’ve finally landed the propeller plane. I went back and repeatedly played through the full tutorial on how to land, which was quite enjoyable. Landing speed needs to be 170 knots, then down to zero upon touchdown with the air brake applied. It’s important to realize that this is not an action game. What seemed boring at first is actually the process, which becomes more interesting when using the manual controls. My next mission is landing one of the fighters.

I rated it one star for one reason; to help motivate the creators to keep creating. IT NEEDS MORE LEVELS! This game is, hands down, the best flying game in the app store. It has the most intuitive controls. It's simple, yet challenging enough. Other flight games are either too simple, or way too complicated (in a bad way.) They have too many things going on etc. This game is perfect in the sense that the level is open and it allows you to fly freely. Despite this though, there is literally only one level. They let you take off from various places, but there is only one true level. I'm amazed that this game is rated as high as it is, with that being the case (just a testament to how perfect the flying aspect is.)The architects need to create new levels! If you create even one new level, I will raise the rating to a 5. I've been waiting about 6 months! Stop worrying about creating new planes, and just create a new level. Please! Great game otherwise :-)

Sometimes flight simulators are just too complicated. But this game is simple and perfect! The aircraft are really cool with good graphics making them look realistic. If you are on edge… Buy it. The game is worth more than the $2.99 its offered for! You wont regret it. I cant wait to get updates with new aircraft. I would be extremely happy if there was a Water landing big aircraft. And other air traffic would also be awesome.
