Glory of Generals for Pc

This has to be hands down the BEST game I’ve played. This game has real historical battles such as Blitzkrieg, Operation overlord and operation dragoon. Pay attention to the battle map before the game. Always follow that. You have to use real WWII tactics. If your looking for a challenge this is a great game. Many campaigns have taken me multiple tries but once I found the right tactic it filled me with joy to complete it. I’ve also noticed that your decisions also impact the AI’s decisions. For example in operation dragoon, if you send your troops to Nice General VanFleets attacking force will head for Marseilles and Toulon leaving Barcelona as a troop manufacturing city for the Axis but if you send your troops to Marseilles and Toulon General VanFleets attacking force will find its way to Barcelona ultimately stopping the axis powers to counter your invasion from the west. Overall the mechanics are amazing. Every once in a while the AI is just stupid. Other than that I would recommend this game to lots of people. This is the BEST WWII game I’ve ever played.

This IS the best tactical game I’ve seen so far. I have a an idea though, this does include pacific war also. What I’m seeing is this “Create” tab with all the others on the main screen. When you press it is shows “Saved” and “New.” When you click new it will send you to a map maker screen which is in hexagons, here is where the light bulb expands... There are multiple tabs for different thing such as maybe DRAW or ADD or even DELETE. These tabs when pressed will do the same thing as you think. Ok Ok, time to get to the point-My idea is that you can create your own map or campaign, like making weird and new islands! For example you could copy off of some real campaign, and then make your own! You can add the description of the campaign, the generals,(Tap a troop and select a general for that troop to play in the campaign, PLEASE BE FREE[you can’t play them though only yourself]) The objective, the enemies, how much money and mechanics things you start with, and finally the name to the cities and what lvl they are. For example, (I’ve said this twice haven’t I?) you could select the ground(which you drew) or land or grass or mountains, and push a factory button, or city button, or oil pump button, or maybe an Air Force Base button? Same thing with the harbors, tap the water and make it a harbor. I feel like I’m forgetting something... Oh yeah, PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS COST MONEY!!!!!!!! I’m not one to write reviews, but I keep on playing this game over the years, so I thought I owed it to the developers. The only problems that I would find are that it is hard to progress using in-game currency, pretty much impossible unless you spend actual money (which I never have). This brings me to my next small issue with the app, it is too hard to really get past the first few levels. The game is strategy heavy and very fun, but one of the hardest I’ve ever played. I assume it would be much easier if you payed actual money, and I respect this as the developers are just a company after all and they have to make money somehow. Don’t let this make you think that the game is a money grab; it’s not. You are offered a lot of freedom within the app for being an app where you really never have to pay for anything to enjoy it.

As a WWII buff, I say this game is perfect. You need real tactics to do good, and it is a big challenge! The depth of the game is also amazing! It includes real battles and generals, and even adds some fictional stuff for fun, like the Invasion of North America😂 (never would have worked)and some neutral countries like Portugal 🇵🇹. They really spent their time making this game. I do feel like in the African Front sometimes armies are way to small. I mean, you can’t defeat 190 Italian tanks with 49 British soldiers. And sometimes the computer has brain cells, and sometimes they die. You can’t win battles if Eisenhower runs directly into 80 Germans by himself😂 happens all the time. Other than that, it’s amazing. I hope you make more games like this in the future!
